Spicy Much Mix & Father's Day

My family really loves to munch when traveling or just watching a good movie. Since we are a gluten free family, this can be tricky. This spicy recipe is perfect to add some "kick" to snacking.

FireCracker Recipe

Mix together 1/4 cup sesame oil, 1 ranch dressing packet, 1 T garlic powder and 1 T red pepper flakes.  Place one 5 oz. box of gluten free crackers (I used Van’s brand) in a large gallon zipper bag, pour on mixture and shake the crackers like ya mean it!
Spicy Munch mix

Mix together:
  • firecrackers (recipe above)
  • 1 cup wasabi peas
  • 1 cup habanero almonds (or spicy dry roasted peanuts, smoked almonds …)
  • 2 cups rice "chef type" cereal
  • 5 oz Cheese crackers (I used Van’s brand)
  • 8 oz gluten free mini pretzels (I used Glutino brand)

Place in jar, add a scoop, attach a tag and let the munching commence!

Since Father’s Day is right around the corner, this is a fun and easy gift idea to package for all the men in your life!

Another idea: scoop into clear plastic treat bag & attach the printable tag for a quick Father’s day gift :-)
Other Father's Dat Gift ideas:

{my hubby enjoys cold water mixed with the hydrating performance mix in cups like this, we figured a black freezable version would be perfect for a Dad! We filled it with Hershey "hugs & kisses" and attached a label my 7 yro made.}

Here is another idea for lil' hands
{This is a project we did with the daycare children for their Dads}

These are inexpensive & can be a last minute gift, so no excuse….get crafty and get to it!

Have a wonderful weekend & don't forget to celebrate the Father's in your life!
