Homemade Garlic Butter

Who knew how simple it is to made butter?
Seriously easy! Basically it's heavy cream, shaken or mixed and the liquid is poured out (buttermilk) leaving butter!
Because my kids love garlic bread, I figured why not make my own garlic butter?
1/2 cup heavy cream
1-2 tsp garlic powder (you can also use minced garlic or chopped garlic)
Container that seals tight

Directions:
Pour cream and garlic into the container. Place light on tight & shake it like u mean it for about 30 minutes! Great project for kids to do, keeps them busy (just be sure to supervise-you don't want them to open it!).
After 30 min, pour out the liquid (butter milk). The remaining solid portion is the butter!
Ah-ha! Garlic butter :-)

Happy garlic breathe to you,
